About Teabear Kennels
and Kip Kopatch
You've probably seen Kip Kopatch, her dogs or her artwork at various dog shows throughout the United States and Europe. She is a graduate of Rhode Island School of Design and has been a lifelong student of art, an educator, an artist and an author. For a number of years, Kip has been the owner of Teabear Kennels and breeder of champion show dogs, including Japanese Chin, a charming toy breed for which Kip has a strong affection.
In past years Kip has also owned, showed and bred Champion Papillions and Chows (Chows . . .where it all began). Kip is the author of a book on Chows.
Kip has designed and produced many of the trophies, prizes and gifts displayed at national and international dog shows. When not attending dog shows and creating her artwork, Kip and the Teabears make their home in Greene, Rhode Island. She creates custom artwork for all breeds and all species and welcomes inquiries about her design work as well as commissioned artwork requests. Quotations are available upon request!
